Before vs After

From scattered to tidy in 60 seconds.

The shift sole traders and freelancers feel in their first week.

Late payment hits over 1.5 million UK businesses, costs the economy nearly £11 billion a year and is linked to around 14,000 closures annually. GOV.UK, 2026

Before DueTidy

Chasing feels awkward and scattered.

  • Forgotten invoices buried in your inbox
  • Awkward follow-up messages you keep putting off
  • Spreadsheets, sticky notes and mental tabs
  • No clear list of who needs chasing today

After DueTidy

Calm, tidy, and on top of every chase.

  • One tidy list of who needs chasing today
  • Professional reminders, ready to review and send
  • Snooze, promise-to-pay and follow-up tracking
  • Full chase history saved per invoice

01

Paste the basics

Customer, amount, due date. Drop in your existing payment link, hosted invoice URL or bank details — whatever you've got.

02

We track who's late

Open DueTidy each morning and see exactly who needs chasing today. No spreadsheets, no second-guessing.

03

Send calm, professional reminders

One tap to send a professional email, or log a call or WhatsApp you sent yourself. Templates included.

Why DueTidy is different

We don't replace your invoicing tool — we tidy up after it.

DueTidy sits on top of Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe, PayPal, spreadsheets or paper invoices. It focuses on one thing: the unpaid invoice and the follow-up. So you stay organised and professional without re-learning how you bill.

See how DueTidy works

What DueTidy does

  • Tracks who's late, every day
  • Sends warm, professional reminders on a sensible ladder
  • Snooze, promise-to-pay, log a call
  • Keeps the full chase history per invoice

What it doesn't

  • Generate invoices for you
  • Accounting, VAT or tax
  • Manage jobs, quotes or time tracking
  • Process payments or hold funds

FAQ

Questions sole traders ask before signing up.

Quick honest answers to the things people check before creating an account.

  • Does DueTidy send invoices, or does it just chase them?

DueTidy doesn't send invoices. You keep using whatever you already use — Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Stripe, PayPal, a PDF, a spreadsheet or even a paper invoice. DueTidy is the polite chase layer that sits on top.

  • Does DueTidy work with my invoicing tool?

Yes — DueTidy is invoicing-tool agnostic. Add an invoice in under 60 seconds: customer, amount, due date, payment link or bank details if you have them. That's it. Whether the original invoice came from Xero, Stripe or a WhatsApp message, DueTidy treats it the same.

  • Is DueTidy a debt collection agency?

No. DueTidy sends polite, professional payment reminders and keeps a record of every chase. It's not legal advice, not a Letter Before Action, and not a debt collection service. You stay in control of every reminder.

  • Can I review every reminder before it sends?

Yes. On the Free plan all reminders are manual — you write the message and hit send. On Pro you can switch on automatic scheduled reminders per invoice, but you can pause auto-chase on any invoice any time, and you choose the wording for each stage of the ladder.

  • How much does it cost? Is there really a free plan?

Yes — free forever for your first 5 open invoices, no card required. Pro is £9/month for unlimited invoices, automatic scheduled reminders, custom templates per stage, snooze and promise-to-pay. Pro starts with a 14-day free trial and you can cancel anytime from the Stripe portal.

  • Can I use DueTidy with WhatsApp or paper invoices?

Yes. Add the invoice details to DueTidy manually — customer, amount, due date — and use the Log a chase feature to record WhatsApp messages, phone calls, texts or in-person conversations alongside the email reminders DueTidy sends. Your full chase history per invoice lives in one place.
